Jagadguru Ramanandacharya is the merciful avatar of Lord Shri Ram incarnated 800 years ago to propagate the teachings of ideal society by establishing Shri Ramanand Sampradaya. This phenomenon is usually found in almost all Sampradaya where we could see the reincarnation of their benevolent Lord. Lord Shiva as Shankaracharya, Lord Krishna as Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and Adishesha as Ramanujacharya etc. time-to-time to show the real path to humanity.

Ramanandacharya developed disciples from all sects of the society breaking all the barriers of the caste. He pronounced that irrespective of any varna, religion, everyone is eligible to take refuge of Lord Shri Ram.

Jagadguru Ramanandacharya's renowned list of disciples include Kabirdas (Muslim), Raidas (a cobbler), Dhanna (from jaat community), Sena (a barber), Pinara merchant (Vaishya community), Pipa (Kshatriya).

Further in disciplic succession are Goswami Tulsidas ji (the saint was picked by Ramanandacharya ji's disciple when he was a five year old orphan and his caste was uncertain), Meerabai (a Kshatriya and a disciple of cobbler saint Raidas), Nabhadas (the child saint was picked by disciple of Ramanandacharya without knowing his caste).
